Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Correspondence, reports and records, contracts, invoices, construction, and business
Computer and technology knowledge: Google Docs, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Windows, electronic mail, and MS Outlook
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail while managing a large workload

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, answer the telephone, and relay calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries and compile data, statistics, and other information
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies, maintain inventory, and greet people while directing them to contacts or service areas
  • The candidates should be able to open, distribute, and coordinate the flow of regular and electronic incoming mail and other material
  • The candidates should be able to set up and maintain both manual and computerized information filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to type, proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and respond to employee questions and complaints
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic bookkeeping tasks, manage contracts, and establish/implement policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to conduct research, organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to provide customer service and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
