Salary: $29.52 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to perform repetitive tasks, and manage a large caseload
  • The candidates should be able to handle a large workload and work with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be flexible and organized
  • The candidates should be team players, accurate, reliable, and have a strong client focus and strong time management skills
  • The candidates should be adaptable, demonstrate due diligence, and be quick learners

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate and plan daily operations, open and distribute mail and other materials, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and train other workers, record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should be able to answer the telephone, relay telephone calls and messages, answer electronic inquiries, and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies, maintain inventory, arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and maintain and manage digital databases
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
