Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have current enrollment in a post-secondary institution, in a business administrative or related post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program
Experience: Candidates should have experience with Google Workspace applications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide a broad range of administrative services to staff within the section
  • The candidates should be able to review and follow up via phone or email with citizens possessing delinquent permits in violation of Alberta Building Codes
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and process documents, including infraction letters, memos, Council Reports, and attachments according to City standards for signatures or approvals
  • The candidates should be able to provide administrative support, including responding to telephone, email, or in-person inquiries, and distributing information as required
  • The candidates should be able to support communication on C-schedule documentation requirements to applicants, general contractors, and architects, and schedule final occupancy inspections
  • The candidates should be able to assist with administering a filing and document management system for retention and disposition
  • The candidates should be able to perform other related duties as required
