Job Description:

Salary: $43.63 hourly
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Whitehorse, YT, CA
Shift: 35-40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have two years of experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • The candidates should show enthusiasm for contributing to the unique mission, whether through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support and be legally entitled to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a valid Transport Canada “E” (AME-E) License and be required to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • The candidates should have TC-approved endorsements on aircraft operated by the company, including B737 Classic, Next Generation aircraft, and ATR 42-300/320

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform maintenance on aircraft instruments, avionics, and electrical systems and components
  • The candidates should be able to carry out systems testing in accordance with appropriate documentation such as the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletins, and Engineering Orders and calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments to specification
  • The candidates should be able to carry out troubleshooting procedures to isolate faults and coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel
  • The candidates should be able to conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials, and manuals
  • The candidates should be able to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
