Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Serving It Safe program certification
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be flexible
  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative and be organized
  • The candidates should be reliable and team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and serve food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, as well as take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs
