Salary: $24.19 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Truck or equipment experience: Road sweeper, Salt truck, Sanding truck, Snow transportation truck, Snowplough
Credentials: AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), DZ class license
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should possess attention to detail and be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling
The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and have good hand-eye coordination
The candidates should be able to work overtime as required and handle physically demanding tasks
The candidates should be comfortable sitting and be able to work under pressure
The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, and possess excellent written communication skills
The candidates should be flexible, demonstrate initiative, and work well as a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment
The candidates should be able to operate various vehicles and equipment
The candidates should be able to report any malfunctions to the supervisor
