Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to work effectively under pressure, and be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding tasks, have strong attention to detail, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and scan items
- The candidates should be able to tabulate the total payment for goods or services required, receive payment for goods or services, and calculate daily or shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean the counter area, greet customers, provide customer service, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
