Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized and demonstrate reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, supervise and care for children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidate should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidate should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidate should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
