BESSeeze Leather & Beads Inc is a distinctive boutique that celebrates the beauty of handcrafted leather and beadwork. With more than 30 years in the business, BESSeeze Leather & Beads Etc. has become a  “Landmark designation for Native Crafts enthusiasts in Winnipeg!” Our current owner has over 15 years of experience in the industry, and the staff is lovely, personable and very eager to help with your projects. We have lots of knowledge regarding crafting and supplies, and we’ll be happy to share it with our clients. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Job Description:

Salary: $18.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: 09:00 to 16:00
Work setting: Urban area, Data processing and computers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be repetitive taskers
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be punctual, client focus, initiative, flexible, reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to access and process information, answer written and oral inquiries
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, arrange for refunds and credits
  • The candidates should be able to answer inquiries and provide information to customers, sell merchandise, and issue receipts and other forms
  • The candidates should be able to receive payments and weigh outgoing mail
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies and maintain inventory, organize and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to perform general office duties, such as assisting in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material
