Measuring tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Calibre, and Gauges
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and handle repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding work and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be available for overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to handle weight, including lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts and read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- The candidates should be able to repair machine tools and parts, as well as set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- The candidates should be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance and maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- The candidates should be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
