Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks while having manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be reliable, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, as well as clean and lubricate cranes
• The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades while mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
• The candidates should be able to assemble tower cranes on site and operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side
• The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs while leveling earth to fine grade specifications
• The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings and clean and pile salvaged materials
• The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
