Job Description:

Salary: $25.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Kamloops, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and able to work under tight deadlines
The candidates should be able to manage repetitive tasks, capable of handling heavy loads, and comfortable working outdoors
The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, able to work in noisy and dusty environments, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and level earth to fine grade specifications
The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
