Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of University Degree in Business and Public Administration
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years experience dealing with contracts and procurement including contract initiation, scope development, risk assessment, evaluation criteria, contract negotiation, data management, analysis and reporting

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities
  • The candidates should be able to work in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance and supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have certification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related area
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, negotiate, and build consensus with people at varying levels, and provide clear recommendations
  • The candidates should have significant skill and ability using Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • The candidates should possess strong business writing skills, including drafting contracts and clauses and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills
  • The candidates should have demonstrated experience and skills in contract negotiations and dealing with contracts or vendors and and experience with supply chain or procurement legislation, policies, processes, and trade agreements
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to make well-thought-out, independent decisions using business acumen and working legislation, corporate policies, and guidelines
  • The candidates should effectively gather, synthesize, and interpret multifaceted information from a wide range of sources and perspectives
  • The candidates should have prioritization and planning skills with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget and exceptional customer service skills with a willingness to help and resolve concerns and identify strategies for successful outcomes
  • The candidates should demonstrate alignment with the Cultural Commitments of Safe, Helpful, Accountable, Integrated, and Excellent, fostering an environment for others to do the same

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work with business units to identify business needs and develop or document technical scope and specifications of contracts and support the procurement process
  • The candidates should be able to develop and manage various types of contracts on an ongoing basis, including contract initiation, scope development, risk assessment, evaluation criteria, contract negotiation, analysis, monitoring, and reporting
  • The candidates should be able to conduct research and environmental scans to identify and evaluate best business practices for possible implementation
  • The candidates should be able to liaise and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and performance expectations for contracts
  • The candidates should be able to prepare draft contracts and clauses as well as content of procurement documents for market or posting
  • The candidates should be able to assist in identifying and reporting contract budgets and initiate contract renewals
  • The candidates should be able to lead, support, and conduct all contract closeout activities to ensure compliance and ensure the production of all contract outputs and deliverables
  • The candidates should be able to provide regular analysis and reporting on contract statistics
  • The candidates should be able to conduct market research on emerging trends, technology, and best practices
