Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Cuisine specialties: Japanese cuisine

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused, flexible, and able to take initiative

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment and clean kitchen and work areas and manage kitchen operations
