Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering
Experience: Candidates should have experience in network administration, and with light coding or scripting
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have an understanding of intermediate OS, PC hardware, and networking concepts, tools and protocols
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a Diploma of College Studies in Computer Science or Electronics, or equivalent practical experience
- The candidates should have experience with hardware and operating systems Linux and networking protocols
- The candidates should be fluent in both English and French to support client relationship management in this region, or equivalent practical experience
- The candidates should have experience working with Linux (Red Hat, Slackware, Fedora, SUSE, Ubuntu, Debian, Gentoo) or Unix (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, BSD), or another similar operating system
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to contribute to and lead efforts or projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center infrastructure
- The candidates should be able to lead complex troubleshooting and resolve critical or escalated technical issues over a population of affected equipment
- The candidates should be able to help test and troubleshoot new complex server hardware components and designs
- The candidates should be able to configure and troubleshoot OS-related issues on servers
