Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials:Â Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and engage in storytelling, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, and encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and discuss the progress and problems of children at staff meetings, and attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
