Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one year of previous food and beverage service experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and lift light objects
- The candidates should be able to withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, cold and heat) in a mountain environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have Serving It Right, ProServe, or another course in the responsible service of alcohol and a valid First Aid Ticket (OFA3)
- The candidates should be able to consistently provide a polished and professional appearance to guests
- The candidates should preferably have a comprehensive knowledge of fine food, wine, and service andx knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to escort patrons to their seats, provide menus, and take guests’ orders courteously
- The candidates should be able to ensure prompt food service, meet guest expectations for their meal, and ensure all bills are accurate
- The candidates should be able to handle cash, including making change, maintaining a float, and processing credit card and debit transactions
- The candidates should be able to prepare and stock the dining room, assist with layout changes, and support special functions
- The candidates should be able to schedule dining reservations, arrange parties, and organize special services
- The candidates should be able to perform related duties as requested by Team Leads and Managers
