Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and have manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and reliable
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, and excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should be a team player and have strong values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and engage them in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks, arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, demonstrate knowledge of licensing regulations, and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
