Salary: $20.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: North Vancouver, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- They should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- They should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, and attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
