Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Welding techniques:Â MIG and TIG
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Brakes and presses, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Drills, Grinder, Shears, Saws
Area of specialization:Â Structural metal or steel
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials:Â Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy areas and in dusty areas
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, initiative, reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
- The candidate should have values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lay out reference points and patterns, assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, weld or bolt sections together
- The candidates should be able to set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, construct patterns and templates
- The candidates should be able to install fabricated components in final product, rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
- The candidates should be able to study engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently
