Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables and describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers
• The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide excellent customer service
• The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations, inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory, and keep records of food, supplies, and equipment
• The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
