Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment, and they should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and focus
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure, remaining composed and productive during demanding situations
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to prioritize client focus and demonstrate reliability, collaborating effectively as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly and efficiently, and they should be able to package take-out food orders accurately and securely
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods according to established standards, and they should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items as required
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables with professionalism and courtesy, and they should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of items
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders accurately and efficiently, and they should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment thoroughly
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas properly, and they should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
