Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have accounts payable experience, preferably in a transportation environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess solid communication skills, both verbal and written
- The candidates should demonstrate self-motivation and independence; they should be able to work on their own initiative with little direct supervision
- The candidates should have the ability to quickly prioritize individual responsibilities and efficiently manage time
- The candidates should have proven proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, & Word
- The candidates should have experience operating in an SAP system and Transportation experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accrue correct costs based on carrier rates (SAP/TM systems)
- The candidates should be able to perform month-end reconciliation of all open accruals and carrier statements
- The candidates should be able to audit freight invoices against SAP/TM system accruals
- The candidates should be able to communicate to carriers and resolve any invoice issues
- The candidates should be able to maintain period-end reports
- The candidates should be able to perform data entry
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate accounts payable experience, preferably in a transportation environment
- The candidates should be able to exhibit solid communication skills, both verbal and written
