Salary: $19.11 hourly for 8 to 38.75 hours per week
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time leading to full time

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check And Child Abuse Registry Check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and bend, crouch and kneel and work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be focused on clients, dependable, and efficient in interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be excellent in oral communication, flexible, and able to take initiative
  • The candidates should be reliable, a team player, and excellent in written communication
  • The candidates should value ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets and stock the linen closet and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas and clean and disinfect elevators and handle and report lost and found items
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities and pick up debris and empty trash containers and wash windows, walls and ceilings
  • The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers
