Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 42.5 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Start-up and testing, Shutdown operations, Rigging and handling, Troubleshooting, Bearing, seals and packing, and Hydraulics and fluids
Equipment and machinery experience: Conveyor, Fans and blowers, Hydraulic system, Industrial and stationary engine, Lathes and other machining tools, Power tools, Press brakes and metalworking equipment, Pumps and compressors, and Welding equipment
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract), and Drug test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts
- The candidates should be able to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- The candidates should be able to install machinery and equipment, operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
