Salary: $17.20 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, 08:00 to 18:00
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is not available
Type of crops: Apples, cherries, garlic, grapes, orchard fruit, potatoes, and vineyard
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently and handle repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, perform bending, crouching, kneeling, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, walking
- The candidates should be able to work overtime as required

- The candidates should be able to show efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and be organized and reliable
- The candidates should be a team player and uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the rows, clean the crops, and clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
- The candidates should be able to guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, hand harvest vegetables, and maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
- The candidates should be able to pack fruits and vegetables, pick row and orchard crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, shear and shape trees and plants with a knife, and sort fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants, perform weeding, harvest crops, and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
