Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be capable of standing for extended periods
• The candidates should have attention to detail, be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and heavy loads, and be prepared for repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be comfortable with walking, able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, and capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be organized
• The candidates should exhibit reliability and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to stock shelves and display areas, price items using stamps or stickers according to a price list, and obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
• The candidates should be able to keep stock clean and in order, direct customers to the location of articles sought, and maintain computerized stock inventory
• The candidates should be able to operate an electric pallet jack, provide customer service, record incoming stock, and unpack products received by the store, counting, weighing, or sorting items as needed
