Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• The candidates should have a keen attention to detail
• The candidates should be comfortable with tasks involving walking

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrating professionalism in customer service and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
• The candidates should assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, prepare, package, and restock goods, and load and unload goods
• The candidates should use maps and other trip planning aids, record trip information like vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
• The candidates should perform administrative tasks, keep a record of items received and delivered, deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, and deliver newspapers and flyers to residences and businesses
• The candidates should provide customer service, sort packages, follow directions and read maps, and set appointments for the sales team
• The candidates should pay and receive payments for goods
