Target audience: kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), persons with a disability
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a team player
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and dependability, as well as exhibit reliability
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients in water, such as a pool
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise like walking, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care and prepare and serve nutritious meals
