Salary: $22.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check, Immunization Records, Vulnerable Sector Check, And Tuberculosis Test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle physically demanding activities, and demonstrate manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, walk, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on clients, dependable, and efficient in interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be excellent in oral communication, flexible, and able to take initiative
- The candidates should be aware of interpersonal dynamics, able to exercise good judgement, and organized
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bed pans, serve meal trays and feed patients, and weigh, lift, turn and position patients
- The candidates should be able to deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments, make beds and maintain patients’ rooms, and supervise patients’ exercise routines
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and groom patients, transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, answer call signals to determine patients’ needs, and administer first aid in emergency situations
