Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

- The candidates should be able to ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- The candidates should be able to provide counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter, and behind-the-counter products
- The candidates should be able to practice to the full extent of expanded scope with professional services, within their capability
- The candidates should be able to be clearly identifiable to the public and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed
- The candidates should be able to communicate with other healthcare professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care
- The candidates should be able to maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
