Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Diploma in Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently and possess strong time management and task management skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience interpreting and applying human resources and compensation policies and benefits and experience providing front-line customer service
  • The candidates should ideally have experience with human resource management systems such as Peoplesoft
  • The candidates should have knowledge of human resources and compensation policies and benefits
  • The candidates should demonstrate proficiency with human resource management systems and demonstrate effective communication skills
  • The candidates should exhibit strong front-line customer service skills and attention to detail should be a strong suit
  • The candidates should provide a recent and satisfactory Certificate of Conduct and excel in building and maintaining relationships

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to act as the initial point of contact for all incoming inquiries from government employees, managers, and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice, guidance, and interpretation in all areas of Human Resources including compensation policies, Collective Agreements, pension administration, employee benefits, employee self-service access, and Occupational Health and Safety
  • The candidates should be able to deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels such as telephone, email, and communication portals
  • The candidates should be able to conduct in-person consultations to assist with onboarding and retirement processes
  • The candidates should be able to utilize a centralized ticketing system to manage workflow and collaborate with other divisions within Human Resources and Compensation
  • The candidates should be able to investigate queries or issues, identify root causes, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve them effectively
  • The candidates should be able to determine when to escalate queries or issues to appropriate channels and perform other related Human Resources duties
