Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and managing physically demanding tasks

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and be a reliable team player
• The candidates should demonstrate initiative in their work, be flexible in adapting to various situations, and show reliability

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to balance and deposit cash, maintain daily log books, and inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas
• The candidates should be able to liaise between chefs and customers, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and answer customers’ questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, attend to seating arrangements for large groups, and greet customers
• The candidates should be able to receive customers’ reservations, assign tables, and receive payments from customers
