Salary: $17.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 70 to 110 hours bi-weekly

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning, 07:00 to 19:00
Work setting: Urban area, various locations, rural area, and construction site
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors and be comfortable working at heights
- The candidates should be prepared to work in noisy environments and handle dangerous conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments and be prepared to work in hot conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and handle physically demanding tasks, including meeting tight deadlines and handling heavy loads
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a strong attention to detail while being comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime if required, and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs), 23 kg (50 lbs), and 45 kg (100 lbs), demonstrating strong weight handling capabilities

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and perform routine maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
