Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment, operate a cash register, and prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff such as apprentices, stagehands, or design teams, teach interest or professional development courses, and plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other events
- The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, provide advice about merchandise, and advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services
- The candidates should be able to perform data entry, provide customer service, train staff, and assist in the display of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates, and greet customers to discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
- The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
