Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Standard First Aid certification within 6 months of hire
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience with administrative tasks such as tracking and data entry, photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, records management, and processing mail

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires working onsite in a school environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience providing service in a front-facing role within an elementary school setting
  • The candidates should demonstrate considerable experience (including e-mail and sensitive mail)
  • The candidates should have experience with accounts receivable and payable transactions, including petty cash, trust accounts, and grants, and be capable of tracking financial spending
  • The candidates should ideally be familiar with ASPEN, Archibus, Quicken, PeopleSoft, and Apply to Education
  • The candidates should possess experience in creating and updating school schedules and managing the school website
  • The candidates should model interpersonal skills and personal responsibility and possess equivalent education, training, or experience to the essential qualifications
  • The candidates should engage daily with children and their families within a caring and positive environment
  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus and adopt a child-centered approach to engaging children
  • The candidates should hold RCMP Security Clearance, Vulnerable Sector and hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
