Sun Sushi Inc. based in St. John’s, NL is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Server – food and beverage services. Sun Sushi Inc. offers Japanese meal generally includes tempura, miso soup, rolls, nigiri and/or sashimi. Staple foods are rice and noodles, such as udon and soba. Side dishes include seafood, pickled vegetables, and fresh vegetables. Generally, seafood is served as raw sashimi or nigiri. Fresh or pickled vegetables are served as rolls or nigiri. Sun sushi is pleased to offer consumers the choice of dining in or ordering out with delivery available at selected locations. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, advise on menu selections, balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, provide customer service
