Salary: $15.30 to $15.80 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding work, have attention to detail, and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, reliable, and team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, carry customers’ purchases to the parking lot and pack orders in customers’ vehicles, and obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
  • The candidates should be able to direct customers to the location of articles sought, unpack products received by the store, and count, weigh, or sort items
  • The candidates should be able to order stock, record incoming stock, stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order
  • The candidates should be able to price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list, attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting, and fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock
  • The candidates should be able to perform general cleaning duties (e.g., sweeping, mopping floors), process electronic transactions using computer equipment, operate the cash register, and provide customer service
