Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and in areas with strong odors
  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently and place dishes in the storage area appropriately
  • The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand meticulously and scour pots and pans diligently
  • The candidates should be able to package take-out food securely and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items proficiently
  • The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars accurately and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs effectively
  • The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment thoroughly and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas appropriately
  • The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit skillfully and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances thoughtfully
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special guests or functions proficiently and prepare and cook meals or specialty foods with attention to detail
