Salary: $17.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be involved in fruit and vegetable combination farming and comfortable working outdoors
• The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
• The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods while effectively handling repetitive tasks

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to divide freshly harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, hand-harvest vegetables, and harvest seedlings
• The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and clean the work area
• The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
