Salary: $15.60 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Mount Pearl, NL
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Restaurant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or Chinese Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay to kitchen and bar staff, and provide customer service
