Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, and hot area

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping machines
The candidates should be able to examine welds for compliance with standards, determine the weldability of materials, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Additionally, they should operate previously set-up welding, brazing, or soldering machines for fabrication or repair and maintain/perform minor repairs on equipment
