Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Auto repair
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, brazing machine, gas welding machine, soldering machine, and spot welding machine
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, possess manual dexterity, and be attentive to detail
- The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination, be able to sit for extended periods, and handle weight efficiently
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be flexible, organized, and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, and determine weldability of materials
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
- The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
