On site:Â Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should focus on the client and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications and determine the weldability of materials
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products and operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
- The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor the robotic welding production line and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
