Salary: $26.00 to $32.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Installation and Inspection
Equipment and machinery experience: Disability elevators
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be able to handle weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • The candidates should have attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
  • The candidates should be dependable and reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies and connect electrical components
  • The candidates should be able to position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly, ensuring mechanical assemblies and subassemblies are correctly aligned and functioning
  • The candidates should be able to inspect finished products for proper functioning and make minor adjustments and repairs as needed
