Salary: $14.15 hourly for 34 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Unit A-1020 Mc Phillips St, Winnipeg, MB R2X 2K5
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Specialty shop and On-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail and distinguish between colors
  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
  • The candidates should be able to work in non-smoking areas and in cold/refrigerated areas

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adaptable, analytical, collaborative, creative, efficient, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, integrated, and outgoing, and should have a positive attitude, and time management skills
  • The candidates should be proactive, quick learners, accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate the cash register
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in the display of merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
  • The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control
