Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed College/CEGEP education
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials:Â Child development worker (ECE level 2)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be recognized for their reliability and uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the holistic development of children
- The candidates should be able to lead activities, including telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and observe them for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children, discussing progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
