Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Two Year Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have three years of experience working with unemployed clients, conducting outreach, delivering workshops, and identifying and overseeing career and employment resources

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have Graduate Certificate in Employment/Career Counselling, Social Work, Human Resources, or an equivalent field
  • The candidates should be proficient in common computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist unemployed persons with gathering labor market and career information to support their job search efforts
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients with building and revising resumes and cover letters to enhance their employment prospects
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and deliver employment-related workshops to support skill development and job readiness
  • The candidates should be able to track statistical data and meet monthly intake and exit targets to monitor program effectiveness and client progress
  • The candidates should be able to complete client files related to job search activities, ensuring accurate documentation of progress and outcomes
  • The candidates should be able to complete paperwork required for client support and center operations in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
