Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home and rural area
Target audience: supervise and care for multi-aged group of children, school age (6 – 12 years), over 12 years, and kindergarten age (4 – 5 years)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smokers and willing to work overtime when required, handling heavy loads and weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, capable of handling repetitive tasks, and able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should prioritize a focus on clients, possessing efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and good judgment, being organized, reliable, and effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
• The candidates should be able to help children with homework
