Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure an emphasis on team collaboration while ensuring quality brand standards and able to supervise, coach, and motivate warehouse staff and manage staff schedules, including work and vacation coverage, to ensure optimal operational coverage
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, and motivate employees toward achieving company goals in serving customers (stores or third party) with maximum quality products in a Food Production Facility
- The candidates should be able to monitor employee hygiene and GMP practices to ensure compliance with SOP and Brand standards and able to ensure all health and safety regulations and requirements are followed and met daily
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate above-average problem-solving skills to provide solution-focused outcomes within the packing team and ensure FIFO is observed when picking products for stores and conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure equipment and cooling units are in good running condition
- The candidates should be able to monitor labor hours of pick and pack staff to minimize overtime and follow up and communicate with stores regarding shortages and overages and perform pre-operational and operational inspections of the pick and pack cooler and inspect products prior to picking and packing, returning any reject product to the production department
- The candidates should be able to monitor inventories and supplies, report any shortages, short date, and damaged products to the Production Supervisor, and delegate daily packing assignments for CDC and DSD operations
- The candidates should be able to oversee the cleanliness and organization/sanitation of the pick and pack cooler and warehouse area and maintain courteous, positive, and respectful communication with staff at all times
- The candidates should be able to update MSDS on a monthly basis, attend monthly Health and Safety Meetings, and perform weekly swab product testing, sending samples to designated laboratories for testing
- The candidates should be able to effectively lead their team while promoting Leadership Qualities and ensure products are picked, packed, verified, and ready for delivery and complete daily lot code product verification and daily product, trays label, and trays count verification
- The candidates should be able to report or evaluate team member quality of work standards to the Supervisor, report any safety concerns to the Health and Safety Committee, and report any shortages of products to the order writer
